About Us
Organized in 1996, the Musselshell Valley Community Foundation (MVCF) obtained its 501(c)(3) status in 1997. DONORS ARE ENTITLED TO A TAX DEDUCTION for any contribution to MVCF. Our affiliation with the Montana Community Foundation (MCF) allows us to combine our endowment assets with the assets of other foundations affiliated with MCF, thus gaining a greater financial return. MCF also provides management and record-keeping to assist in planning our local Foundation's financial future.

Kelly Gebhardt Montana State Senator, local business leader and lumberjack. He is active in the Roundup Fire Department and a pilot. |
Wilbur Wood Writer, editor, adjunct professor at Rocky Mountain College, and advocate for renewable energy. He and Elizabeth Wood are active with the RiverWalk Trail and the Arts and Culture Committee. |
Hester Jacobs Resides east of Melstone. She is a retired Lieutenant Commander, USN. Serves as Vice Chairman on the Board of Musselshell County Council on Aging, the Secretary-Treasurer of the Melstone Volunteer Fire Department, Director of the Seniors program for Musselshell and Melstone, and an avid vegetable gardener.. |
Dwane Snook Serves on the Boards of Homes on the Range, Youth Center, Ridge Riders, Custer Country-State Tourism, is the Co-chair of RIDE, and President of the Bull Mountain Volunteer Fire Dept. Association. |
Jay Newell Fish, Wildlife and Parks Biologist and avid hunter. He line judges volleyball games and keeps books at the Basketball games. |
Karen Erdie Director of Area II Agency on Aging. She serves on the Montana Area Agency on Aging Directors Association Endowment Committee, the Big Sky Senior Services Endowment Committee and serves in an advisory capacity on the board of directors for senior citizen programs in 11 counties and two Indian reservations. |
Linda Picchioni Local business leader and a board member of the Musselshell Valley Historical Museum. She volunteers her musical talents for the Extended Care Unit at Roundup Memorial Healthcare and her church, where she is very active. |
Monty Sealey Executive Director of the Central Montana RC&D Inc, is a very busy musician and a local business leader. He is what they call a "Maloney Manche" in Nepal. |
Lissa Beatty President of the Lavina School Community Association, and own and operate Integrated Ag Services with her husband Steve for the past 12 years. She is our newest board member. |
